PRESS RELEASE 23/04/2016
We are surrounded by objects that provide function to our lives and environments, but which have also been formally considered and designed. From a pair of trainers to a water bottle to a traffic cone the form, scale, materials have all been decided, processed and presented to us as finished things.
The digital origin of many of these objects has been from the same group of base forms that are the foundation of three dimensional design programs. Namely the cube, cylinder, sphere, pyramid, cone and torus.
As these designed objects become components for our lives, they can also be seen as and broken down into the base components from which they were constructed.
